We reached out to the local community for support to help pull off this year's Harvest Festival. Out There Outfitters, an outdoor apparel and accessories store on North Wayne Ave. answered our call. Their store manager, Lucy, went all out in helping us this year so we wanted to let our Braxton's patrons know of this amazing local business that has opened there hearts to our pet community.

MEET THE OWNERS
Sarah McDonald and Heidi Fenstermacher became owners in 2018. Sarah brings over two decades of industry management and buying experience. Before partnering with Sarah, Heidi learned the ins and outs of business as the owner of a landscape design company. Heidi utilizes her design sense in merchandising the shop.
Sarah and Heidi met while teaching environmental education in 1995. Since then, they’ve traveled the world together; from backpacking in Glacier National Park to soaking up the sun in Sedona to camping along the coast of Portugal and Spain. Any chance they get, Sarah, Heidi and their son, Bodie, spend time hiking, kayaking and enjoying their adventurous lifestyle. Sarah and Heidi have a deep appreciation for nature–and it shows. As soon as you walk into Out There Outfitters, your inner explorer will be ready to get outside.

MEET SUGAR
Anyone who visits OTO will surely meet Sugar, Sarah and Heidi's yellow lab. Sugar likes to do photos with all of her four-legged friends that visit and post them on their bulletin board. Be sure to see Sugar when you stop in and check with their staff to find a treat waiting for your pet!
All of the folks at Out There Outfitters are dog enthusiasts, which is why they were so passionate about helping us with our Harvest Fest Rescue Fundraiser! Matt has Izzy, the labradoodle. Lucy has Daphne the Bernedoodle. Corey has Soco, a lab mix. Christian has Boone, a yellow lab and Molly has Maisy, a chocolate lab. Connor has Blue, the Great Dane.
