The Delco SPCA will hold fundraisers in both March and April to help support its causes. Offering a little something for everyone, they will sponsor the 2nd Annual Delco SPCA’s St. Pitty’s Day Pub Crawl , a more family friendly St. Pitty's Day Weekend, a Rescued on the Runway Cocktail Evening, and a Rescued on the Runway Luncheon.
Held on March 12, 2016 from 12:00 pm - 7:30 pm, the 2nd Annual Delco SPCA's St. Pitty's Day Pub Crawl costs $20 which includes:
- A unique 2016 St. Pitty's Day shirt
- Beer & food specials along the way
- Awesome raffels & St. Pitty's Day fun
Funds raised at this event will go to support their Fix-a-Bull program which is dedicated to reducing the overpopulation of Pit Bulls in our community. To reserve tickets or view the pub crawl line-up, click here.
Held on March 19, 2016 from 11:00 am - 6:00 pm, the St. Pitty's Day Weekend will be a day of fun for kids of all ages. You can look forward to awesome adoptable pets (Pit Bulls/mixes will be just $25 adoption fees all month long), a sweet bake sale, a Pitty kissing booth and more family fun! We’ll also have our limited edition St. Pitty’s Day shirts for sale for $20.
All of the proceeds from Pit Bull Celebration Month support their low-cost Pit Bull spay/neuter program “Fix-a-Bull.” So come out to learn about, adopt or celebration this awesome breed! For more information on this event, click here.
Held on Saturday night, April 9, 2016, the Rescued on the Runway Cocktail Evening will be an evening of two and four-legged fashion at the scenic Garrett Williamson Foundation. The tickets include food, cocktails, and a fashion show co-hosted by 6ABC’s Cecily Tynan and 102.9 WMGK’s Debbi Calton.
The human looks will be provided by the Philadelphia Premium Outlets and adopted and adoptable pets, a silent auction, wine raffle and a deluxe goodie bag – featuring Rosebud Lip Salve. For more information on this event, click here.
Held on April 10, 2016 from 12:30 pm - 3:30 pm the afternoon event consists of a fashion show and food all in the name of raising awareness and funds to save and care for homeless and neglected pets. Every Luncheon ticket includes a 3-course meal, a fashion show hosted by Fox29’s Weather Anchor Sue Serio featuring human looks by Boscov’s and adopted and adoptable pets, a silent auction, door prizes and a cash prize raffle.
