Join the Wayne Business Association as they celebrate the holidays with an Old Fashioned Christmas. On Friday, December 2, 2016 at the Wayne Train Station, there will be a tree lighting at 7:30 with Christmas carols led by the Valley Forge Military Academy & College Choir. Before the big event, there will be all sorts of festive activities such as:
- Winter Carriage Rides 5:30 - 8:30
- Pictures with Reindeer 5:30 - 8:30
- Ornament Decorating and Face Painting 5:30 - 7:30 at the Radnor Fire Company
- Hot Chocolate and Goodies at the Wayne Senior Center 5:30 - 8:00
The joyous evening concludes with the Annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony and Countdown at 7:30.
Can't make the festivities on Friday evening?
Then plan to join the WBA (Wayne Business Association) on Saturday, December 3, 2016 for the Annual Santa Parade. Santa will ride into Wayne with the Radnor Fire Company along Lancaster Avenue and end at the Wayne Hotel around 10:00 am. Here, Santa will greet children on the veranda of the Wayne Hotel until 11:30. This year the parade will feature the Radnor High School Marching Band & Cheerleaders as well as the Valley Forge Military Academy Field Music Group.
