If so, you'll be happy to know that Pennsylvania is a great place for bird watching! Our climate and natural habitat provide numerous opportunities for bird watching year round. The Pennsylvania Audubon Society offers a variety of resources from birding trail guides to ways to make your backyard a bird habitat. Since birds are an excellent indicator of an ecosystem's health, you will also be helping the environment.
Braxton's Animal Works is offering a special Wild Bird Watching Event on June 21st from 12-3 pm. Local experts will be on hand to explain how to attract certain birds and how to keep them. You will also learn about bird seed, feeders, bird houses, plants, water, and Audubon at Home. So mark your calendars and plan to join us on Saturday, June 21st from 12-3 for this special event.
