If you're a single pet parent, this Valentine's Day doesn't have to be lonely! Forget about swooning over chocolate and roses, because nothing says "I love you" more than spending quality time with your furry friend. From spa days to special baked treats, here are five fun ways for you AND your pet to enjoy the holiday of love!

Strawberry Homemade Heart Shaped Dog Treats For Valentine’s Day

  1. Make homemade dog treats together.
There's nothing your pup loves more than a tasty treat, so why not whip up a batch of homemade dog biscuits together? You can find recipes for all kinds of different flavors online, from peanut butter to bacon. Just make sure to use pet-safe ingredients! Here is one of our favorites!
  2. Get them a new toy.
What better way to say "I love you" than with a new toy? Your pet will love getting something new to play with, and it'll help keep them entertained while you're busy with work or other obligations. Plus, it's always fun to watch them try to figure out how to use their new toy.
  3. Go on a special date.
Take your dog on a hike, to the park, or even just for a walk around the block. It'll be a great way to get some exercise and spend quality time together. The Radnor Trail is great this time of year! The weather is at a crisp coolness, great for walking! (And where the trail ends is not a bad ending for any pet owners either!)
  4. Have a photoshoot.
This is one Valentine's Day activity that you'll both be able to enjoy long after the holiday is over! Dress up your pet in their favorite outfit and snap away. We have valentines props in our upstairs free photo studio and Braxton's if you want to get your pet in front of the spotlight for their glamour shot!
  5. Give them a spa day.
Pets love being pampered as much as we do! Give your furry friend a relaxing bath followed by a nice brush-and-blowout session. They'll look and feel their best just in time for Valentine's Day. Don't forget, nothing says pamper your pup like a bath and treat at Braxton's Animal Works!

There are lots of ways to show your pet some love this Valentine's Day! Whether you cook them a special meal, take them on a romantic date, or give them a spa day, they're sure to appreciate the extra attention. So get creative and have fun celebrating with your furry BFF!
