Twenty years! Twenty years of hosting the Harvest Festival where we help local pet rescues and organizations. Thanks to Covid they have not been consecutive years, but we are so excited to be back and on the cusp of our 85th year in business! This FREE community event held at Braxton’s in Wayne, PA is not only lots of fun for the entire family, but it also helps to make people aware of the many animals that need food, vet care, and especially forever homes. Representatives from local shelters will be present with adoptable rescue animals and information for those interested in pet adoption. If you are considering pet adoption, remember to bring the following:

ADOPTION PROCESS

  • ID with your current address.
  • The owner of the home must consent to the adoption of the animal and have proof of home ownership.
  • If you rent, you need a copy of your lease stating that you are allowed to have pets.
  • If you are planning to adopt a dog and presently have a dog(s), all dogs must meet.
  • An adoption application must be completed.

ATTRACTIONS

All of our events at the Harvest Fest will be free of charge, but donations will be accepted for the rescue organizations. There will be a bounce obstacle course, face painter, and a caricaturist to draw you and your pet in a fun way!

Chester Co. Search & Rescue will be doing a demonstration at 1pm, 2pm and 3pm. Come check out how these amazing dogs work!

For your pets, there will be free nail clipping provided by Lucie’s Barkingham Palace and all sorts of vendor specials and samples. This year’s event will feature a variety of vendors to share their knowledge of nutrition and products.
